THERAPIES

Aqua Therapy

Considered a new alternative for treatment and rehabilitation aimed at treating various diseases, such as orthopedic, neurological and geriatric.
Exercising in water allows more freedom of movements and postures that can not be achieved outside the water. Doctors usually advise practicing these therapies because they stimulate cardiorespiratory capacity, develops the entire body with harmony, relaxes excessive muscle tone, promotes independence and self-esteem, plays an important role as a socializing agent and also is a low-impact activity .
Swimming helps to improve their cardiovascular system, the regular practice of this therapy causes that respiratory muscles gain flexibility and mobility.

Equine Therapy

This type of therapy uses horses as a means of transmission in the rehabilitation of disabled with physical injuries and nervous system disorders. Thanks to the rhythm, body heat and movement of the horse, this therapy establishes a neural reconnection of some of the brain and central nervous system damaged areas by inducing a relaxation of spasticities and severe muscle stiffness.
The way it works is based on the transmission of vibration pulses (about 100 per minute), which are transmitted over the horse’s back and passing through the patient’s hips and back, generating a sequence of movements which improve and stabilize the neurological conditions, helping to strengthen the muscles, mobility, balance, as well as the perception of themselves and their environment, resulting in most of the cases in happiness.

Dolphin Therapy

This is a therapy in which dolphins are used as a special instrument. Aimed at all those who suffer from a psychological and/or neurological disease such as Down’s syndrome, autism, intellectual disability, psychomotor retardation, muscular hypotonia, etc.
The electromagnetic sound frequencies emitted by the dolphin produce a stimulation of patient’s central nervous system by connecting and making the inactive brain neurons work.
Dolphin Therapy stimulates hypothalamus to produce endorphins which are neurotransmitter cells and stimulates the production of ACTH , which results in patient’s sense of stability ( emotional feeling of being in equilibrium).
